Orion Amphitheater Wins 2025 John Russell Pope Award

We are thrilled to share that the Orion Amphitheater has been named the winner of the John Russell Pope Award in the Commercial Category. Steve Knight, the project’s Principal-in-Charge, and Josh Arcurio, the Project Manager, accepted the award on behalf of the firm.

Presented by the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA), the awards recognize the best work of individuals who contribute to the creation of classical and traditional architecture and the allied arts within the Washington Mid-Atlantic region.

The Orion Amphitheater is an 8,000-seat outdoor music venue located in Huntsville, Alabama. Designed to be both a cultural anchor and a community gathering place, the venue has quickly established itself as a premier destination for top-tier artists and entertainers—earning a spot in Billboard Magazine’s Top East Coast Venues list in 2024.
