Dallas Business Journal Goes Inside Dickies Arena

The Dallas Business Journal has published a photo tour of the nearly-opened Dickies Arena in Fort Worth. With ten photos and a lovely write-up, the Journal also includes an interview with Ed Bass.

As one walks around the arena, there seems to be endless design elements that point to Fort Worth’s past as a frontier city; a city of ranching, a city where people are bound together in community and a city connected to the land.  

From the glass tile mosaic murals atop the southern and northern entrances to the raging bull silhouettes, the outer arena is packed with ties to Cowtown’s history. Inside, there are nods to Texas’ native plants, grasses and culture.
