Faith Primozic has always loved how buildings have the capability to infuse art and beauty into everyday life. In her early years, she discovered the field of architecture at the intersection of her artistic and technical interests. After receiving her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Notre Dame, she left her home in Chicago to join DMSAS in 2022. Her background in traditional and vernacular architecture continues to drive her design decisions and methodology in her work. After receiving the David M. Schwarz Travel Fellowship in 2021, Faith completed extensive research into the role of ceramics as a structural and ornamental building material. Her travels to Spain and Portugal provided insight into how historical materials and methods can be used to facilitate modern-day solutions to design problems. Outside of architecture, Faith enjoys painting, making pottery, playing the piano, and adding to her ever-growing collection of houseplants.
