Sean Nohelty is a Principal of David M. Schwarz Architects, Inc. and serves as Corporate Secretary and Project Manager. He has been with the firm since 1997 after receiving his BArch from the University of Notre Dame School of Architecture. Sean is a registered Architect in the District of Columbia and Texas and holds a LEED AP BD+C accreditation.

Outside the office, Sean is actively involved in the Institute for Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA), having served on the Washington Chapter Board of Directors for six years, including as President in 2014. His service on other Boards includes two terms as a Member of the Notre Dame School of Architecture Advisory Council, Founding Director of the Montana Society, and Founding Director of the Ngoma Center for Dance, a charitable organization that aims to provide minority youths and adults with a deeper understanding of dance as an art and a discipline.

In addition to architecture, design and urbanism, Sean’s passions extend to the realms of college football, family, and philanthropy. In 2015, Sean and his family founded the “Fighting For Fiona & Friends Fund” at the Center for Rare & Neglected Diseases at Notre Dame to support a new research initiative tackling the rare disease Nonketotic Hyperglycinemia (NKH) that afflicted his niece.
