Dean Reineking is an Associate and Project Manager with David M. Schwarz Architects. During his time with the firm, Dean has managed several of the firm’s institutional projects, including those for St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Vanderbilt’s Residential College C, and the Mellon Hall of St. John’s College.

Dean also has specific expertise in mixed-use development design and has contributed to the firm’s work with Washington, DC projects for The Waycroft and Chevy Chase Lake, in addition to several master planning feasibility studies for projects in Washington, DC, Austin, TX and Dallas, TX.

Dean serves on the firm’s CAD/BIM Committee, ensuring that the firm utilizes the best technology and offers its junior members training to develop the technical expertise required for advancement. Dean previously worked as the firm’s recruiting director and also contributed as an instructor with the firm’s design studio class at the Catholic University of America.

Prior to joining DMSAS, Dean received his Masters of Architecture from the University of Miami, where he received additional certificates in Classical Architecture and Historic Preservation. Outside the office, Dean serves as a reservist with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
