Steve Horwitz is an Associate and Project Manager with David M. Schwarz Architects. Growing up in central New Jersey, Steve’s love for architecture began while visiting and experiencing the big cities of New York City and Philadelphia often as a child. He joined the firm one year after graduating from Temple University with a Bachelor of Architecture. Steve was an integral member of the design team for The Smith Center for the Performing Arts, contributing from the beginning of Conceptual Design in 2006 through the project’s completion in 2012.
Many of Steve’s projects are located in Fort Worth, TX and he has served as Project Manager on a few of the firm’s important civic and hospitality projects including Sundance Square, Dickies Arena, and currently, new additions to Cook Children’s Medical Center.

In his free time, Steve enjoys traveling around the world and learning about different cultures, trying new food, and studying different types of architecture. In 2019, Steve hiked to the top of Kilimanjaro and is always looking for a good hike local to Washington, DC, or a National Park around the United States.
